🗓️ Itinerary Overview
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. You’ll be met and transferred to your Arusha hotel for rest and safari briefing.
Overnight: Arusha
Day 2: Arusha → Tarangire National Park
Drive to Tarangire, famous for its vast elephant herds and baobab trees. Game drive with picnic lunch in the park.
Meals: B, L, D – Overnight: Tarangire / Manyara area
Day 3: Tarangire → Lake Manyara National Park
Morning drive to Lake Manyara, home to tree-climbing lions, pink flamingos, and lush forests. Enjoy a scenic afternoon drive along the lake.

Day 4: Karatu → Serengeti National Park
Travel through the Ngorongoro Highlands to the Serengeti, Tanzania’s most famous park. Afternoon game drive en route to your lodge or camp.

Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti
A full day exploring Serengeti’s endless plains — expect to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and possibly the Great Migration (seasonal).

Day 6: Serengeti → Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Morning game drive before leaving Serengeti. Arrive at your Ngorongoro lodge overlooking the crater rim. Enjoy a relaxing evening with stunning views.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Tour → Karatu
Descend 600 m into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day safari. Spot lions, elephants, hippos, and (with luck) black rhinos.

Day 8: Karatu → Lake Eyasi (Cultural Visit)
Drive to Lake Eyasi for a cultural experience with the Hadzabe bushmen, one of Africa’s last remaining hunter-gatherer tribes. You’ll also visit the Datoga blacksmiths and learn about their traditional metalwork.

Day 9: Karatu → Arusha
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, then drive back to Arusha. Visit local markets or craft centers if time permits.

Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight or optional Zanzibar beach extension.
