🗓️ Itinerary Overview

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Meet & greet at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your Arusha hotel. Safari briefing and time to relax.
Overnight: Arusha

Drive to Tarangire (about 2.5–3 hrs). Game drive among elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and big cats. Picnic lunch in the park; late afternoon drive to your lodge in the Tarangire/Manyara area.
Meals: B, L, D — Overnight: Tarangire/Manyara area

Morning game drive in Lake Manyara. Look for tree-climbing lions, hippos, and birdlife along the lakeshore. Visit the hot springs or forest boardwalk (time permitting). Continue to Karatu (Ngorongoro highlands) for the night.
Meals: B, L, D — Overnight: Karatu

Early breakfast, then descend 600 m into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. High chance to spot lions, hyenas, elephants, and (with luck) black rhino. Picnic at the hippo pool. In the afternoon, return to Karatu or continue to Arusha depending on your preference.
Meals: B, L, D — Overnight: Karatu or Arusha

Leisurely breakfast. Optional Arusha city tour or cultural stop (time permitting). Transfer to the airport for your onward flight or Zanzibar extension.
