🗓️ Itinerary Overview

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be met by our driver guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Relax after your flight and receive a detailed safari briefing.
Overnight: Arusha

Day 2: Arusha – Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, driving through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. Enter the park via Naabi Hill Gate and enjoy your first game drive en route to the lodge. The Serengeti is famous for its open plains and large populations of predators and grazing animals.

Overnight: Central Serengeti

Day 3: Full Day Game Drives in Central Serengeti

Spend a full day exploring the Seronera Valley, known as the heart of Serengeti. Spot lions resting under acacia trees, leopards in the branches, and herds of wildebeest and zebra grazing across the plains.

Day 4: Central Serengeti – Northern Serengeti (Mara River Region)

After breakfast, enjoy a game drive as you move north toward the Mara River region. This is the prime area to witness the Great Migration between July and October. Arrive at your tented camp and enjoy an evening game drive.

Day 5: Full Day in Northern Serengeti

Today you’ll spend the day around the Mara River, where wildebeest and zebras gather in huge numbers preparing to cross. If lucky, you’ll witness the dramatic river crossing and predators waiting nearby.

Day 6: Northern Serengeti – Game Drives & Optional Balloon Safari

Enjoy another full day exploring the northern plains. Early risers can join an optional balloon safari (extra cost) for a breathtaking aerial view of the Serengeti at sunrise. Continue with morning and afternoon game drives.

Day 7: Northern Serengeti – Ngorongoro / Karatu

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive or optional flight back south to the Ngorongoro area. Relax at your lodge in Karatu or enjoy a nature walk or coffee farm visit in the afternoon.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha & Departure

After early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Enjoy a half-day game drive and picnic lunch by the hippo pool. Later, drive back to Arusha or transfer to the airport for your flight home.
