🗓️ Itinerary Overview
Day 1: Moshi Arrival
Meet your trekking team, gear check, and pre-climb briefing. Overnight at hotel in Moshi.

Day 2: Londorossi Gate (2,100m) → Mti Mkubwa Camp (2,785m)
After registration, drive through villages to Londorossi Gate. Trek 3–4 hours through montane rainforest to Mti Mkubwa (“Big Tree”) Camp.
Meals: L, D — Overnight: Mti Mkubwa Camp
Day 3: Mti Mkubwa → Shira 1 Camp (3,500m)
Leave the forest and enter the heather zone with sweeping views. 5–6 hours trek to Shira Plateau.

Day 4: Shira 1 → Shira 2 Camp (3,850m)
A short, scenic trek across the plateau. Optional afternoon hike to higher grounds for acclimatization.

Day 5: Shira 2 → Lava Tower (4,630m) → Barranco Camp (3,960m)
Climb up to Lava Tower for acclimatization, then descend to the Barranco Valley. Classic “climb high, sleep low” day.

Day 6: Barranco → Karanga Camp (3,995m)
Ascend the Barranco Wall with thrilling views, then descend to Karanga Valley for rest.

Gradual climb to Barafu Base Camp. Early dinner and rest before summit night.

Day 8: Summit Day – Barafu → Uhuru Peak (5,895m) → Mweka Camp (3,100m)
Start around midnight for the final push to the summit via Stella Point. After sunrise celebration at Uhuru Peak, descend to Mweka Camp.

Day 9: Mweka Camp → Mweka Gate → Moshi
Final descent through rainforest to Mweka Gate for certificates and drive back to Moshi.
